On the eve of Uthradam Hon. Kalliassery MLA , Sri. M. Vijin visited Food security Army centre established at Cherukunnu ,Thavam under RKI project of RARS, Pilicode along with Malabar Kaipad farmers' society directors , and tasted our products including sadya made using Kaipad rice. Distributed kit having the centre products viz., Kaipad rice, Avil, Puttupodi, Pathal podi , Ariyunda, kaipad rice sweet gruel and various organic inputs . Also distributed kit of planting materials consisting 10 leafy vegetables needed for kitchen garden and kit of 10 medicinal plants to be grown in home garden.
