Processing Units

A food processing and value addition centre has been working under RARS, Pilicode to develop, produce and promote the value added products of coconut, cashew, mango and other products of this region to ensure food security and high income to the farmers.  A wide variety of value added products has been produced. Methods for preparation of jaggery, granules, RTS and honey from sweet toddy have been standardised.
