ABOUT ME
A trained field entomologist working on integrated pest management and biological control in different crops. As a part of the masters and doctoral programme at Indian Agricultural research Institute, New Delhi, she has experience in the insect pest management and biocontrol of various agricultural ecosystems. She has seven years’ experience in teaching graduate and post graduate students in government medical colleges, as part of their course. Recently she has been a part of coconut pest management research at KAU. She is also a member of multi-disciplinary diagnostic team for Kasargod as part of extension activities in North Kerala. She has secured women scientist award in the International Conference on Sustainable Agricultural Production for Food, Livelihood and nutritional security: A challenge for Asian farmers held at Thailand by Pragati International Scientific Research Foundation, Meerut, India in 2019. She was a fellow of Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE), by Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, during her doctoral research. India Third prize for Poster presentation, in the International Conference on “Changing Scenario of pest problems in Agri-Horti Ecosystems and their Management held in Ludhiana during her doctoral tenure.
