Regular training programmes are conducted on mushroom production, vermicomposting, cashew propagation, coconut management, coir pith composting, nursery management and vegetable production, cashew apple processing to farmers, youth, officials of agriculture and allied sectors etc. These trainings has paved way for initiating several micro enterprises in agriculture and on the whole helped for the financial upliftment of the farming community. The station on a regular basis conducts exhibitions, classes, discussions, KisanMelas and Farmer’s Day involving emerging technologies in agriculture. Farmers can avail the support of scientific staff on for all the field level problems.
